You’re driving down the highway. Ahead of you is a truck pulling a trailer. What’s inside? Where are they headed? If it’s Doug Price and his daughter Keri driving, you’d discover a V-nose trailer filled with a Premier go-kart and brand-new cabinets from Aluminum Cabinet Co. For almost 25 years, they’ve been a team – his daughter racing and dad working as pit crew. Thanks to custom cabinets and an unbreakable bond, this long-standing tradition is ready for 25 more years.
Since Keri was 6, Doug has been taking her to go-kart races on the weekends. It’s become a meaningful father-and-daughter time that Doug cherishes.
“We’ve been up and down the East Coast from Florida to Virginia and all over, just me and her. It’s really remarkable to get to spend that time together,” Doug says happily. “You can’t buy that kind of time with your daughter.”
Keri is now 31 and still loves racing. She’s won around 600 races and Doug’s garage houses many of her trophies.
As the 2023 racing season approached, Doug started planning. How could he improve their experience? The hauling trailer worked great but didn’t offer great storage. The whole space could be set up better. If he could find durable cabinets that fit in the nose of the trailer, they’d be set. He started digging online. That’s when he came across Aluminum Cabinet Co. They could build the custom cabinets he needed and deliver them assembled. Doug was sold.
“I ordered a set of three 24-foot cabinets for the nose of the trailer,” explains Doug. “The angles were crucial to making it work.”

Doug Price- Father
Aluminum Cabinet Co. built the cabinets exactly to spec, wrapped them in plastic, loaded them on a freight truck, and sent them south 1,372 miles. They arrived in Kingstree, South Carolina exactly as promised.
“They were perfect,” states Doug. “All we had to do was unwrap them and put them in. They did a wonderful job.”
Doug sought precision. He got what he asked for.
“I am absolutely amazed at how they turned out. If one thing was off, this trailer wouldn’t have worked but they were perfect. I still can’t believe how good they are.”
With the new cabinets in tow and a new racing season starting up, Keri and Doug are ready to hit the road – and the racetrack. Both love the new trailer audition and are very vocal about their Aluminum Cabinet Co. experience.
“I was super impressed by the promptness and how they made them exactly the way I wanted,” states Doug. “It was a homerun from start to finish. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anybody.”
